Millions of families in America go hungry every year. Help us provide them with enough to eat.
The usage of plastic items in our daily life causes plastic pollution which has reached alarming heights and is increasing rapidly with every passing day.
Plastic has become a major threat to our environment in today’s times and it is likely to make things worse in the future. It has become a cause of global concern as it is destroying our beautiful planet and is bringing negative repercussions to all kinds of living beings.
How We Do It
Mission Green works on the ethics of reducing plastic to the maximum extent possible. Ever since 2000, the project has launched
“FIGHT AGAINST PLASTIC” under which it promotes awareness among society to reduce and replace plastic bags and other items.
A unique feature of the program is the inclusion of children from middle school and higher secondary standards for awareness.
This means that apart from MGF students, all the children in the school and in the college of the age group 11 to 25 have the opportunity to get involved in the awareness program for single-use plastic
With an aim to bring the visions into action, Mission Green manufactures its own fabric bags. The production of such fabric gives employment to thousands of women who otherwise would not have any source to earn their livings.
The project is eradicating two social and societal evils, plastic pollution and women discrimination. The project continues to provide more and more employment and work opportunities for women from lower backgrounds every day.
Till date, Mission Green has established multiple employment offices across the state of Haryana and is strongly fighting the war against plastic.
It is time for us to stand united to fight this evil called plastic pollution. If each one of us tried to minimize plastic consumption then we can certainly bring down the pollution level to a large extent. Connect with Mission Green today and play your part in making the world a better place.
